Biography[]
Season 5[]
Annalise and Michaela tried to establish that Mitch Donaldson didn't inform Nanda that she couldn't change a guilty plea once it was signed. During her cross, Michaela asked if it was true that he had Nanda sign a plea deal the same day it was offered. He said this was normal, so Michaela continued that he had 8 other clients who all took deals as well, averaging 20 minutes per client. She asked if that was enough time to explain the deal to Nanda, causing Donaldson to blow up at Annalise. He said the class action wouldn't change anything. Once judge Wilkins cut in and let Michaela continue, she asked if Donaldson had any irrefutable evidence that he told Nanda she couldn't appeal her plea. He said the evidence was his testimony and Michaela said that was based on a convenient memory. When A.D.A Montoya began her cross, she asked Donaldson if Nanda told him she only married Ally for her green card. The defense objected, so Montoya presented Nanda's student visa application which showed that she had a ex-husband, implying that she was actually straight.
Later when Annalise discovered that Josh Bathhurst was the real killer, Montoya attempted to object to Annalise's line of questioning but it was overruled by the judge.
