Matt McGorry is one of the main actors of How to Get Away with Murder, portraying the role of Asher Millstone.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
McGorry was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City and began performing at age 9. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York, then Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. McGorry was also previously a competitive bodybuilder.
Career[]
On television, McGorry made his debut in 2011 on ABC daytime soap opera, One Life to Live. He later appeared in small guest-starring roles on Person of Interest, Gossip Girl, and Royal Pains. In 2013, McGorry began a recurring role on the Netflix comedy-drama series, Orange Is the New Black, as Corrections Officer John Bennett.
In March 2014, McGorry landed a regular role as Asher in Shonda Rhimes' ABC legal drama series How to Get Away with Murder.
