The Keating 3 + Oliver House is a location on the show that is first featured on the first episode of season 5, "Your Funeral". Oliver had the idea for his soon-to-be husband Connor, and friends Michaela and Laurel to move in together to save money for the wedding while also supporting Laurel in raising Christopher. Asher wasn't include in the friends' move presumably because he had already moved into Wes' old apartment at the end of season 4 in "Nobody Else Is Dying".
History[]
Season 5[]
After the second class of the semester, Connor, Michaela and Laurel arrive outside of the house where Oliver opens the front door, greets them and tells them to come inside. Originally, the group thought Oliver wanted to have the wedding at the house but he explained he wanted them to live there to save money and support Laurel in raising Christopher. Everybody was against it but Oliver convinced everybody by emphasising how broke they all were and how Michaela in particular owed him for getting Simon Drake deported. ("Your Funeral")
Later, Laurel tells Frank in Bonnie's house that she is moving out with her son. Frank is against it so Laurel explains that it's not fair on Frank for Laurel to keep using him. Frank is so adamant she is wrong that he proposes and Laurel says no. The next day or some days later, the group is moving into the house and unpacking when Michaela announces that she is going to be fabstinent (fabulous and abstinent) and focus on her grades and career. Laurel joins in. ("Your Funeral")
Despite living with more people, Laurel struggles to find childcare for her son and resorts to asking Frank to take Christopher while she was busy. She asked Annalise for help getting Christopher into the Caplan & Gold daycare but Annalise refused to help, so she blackmailed Tegan and Emmett into letting him in. She went home to tell everybody where they were in the kitchen making s'mores. Connor had Oliver apologise for putting his purple shirts in with her whites and then asked if she'd be their second best man, to which she agreed. ("Whose Blood Is That?")
Frank comes round and confronts Oliver of hacking up dirt on Gabriel. Oliver was only doing it because he realised Frank was trying to clone Gabriel's phone, but was unable to because he had a flip phone, so he got curious and hacked Gabriel himself. Laurel asks why Frank is looking into Gabriel and he lies and says that he looks into all the students. Laurel asks if Gabriel is sketchy and Frank says no, so Connor calls him a liar and asks him to leave so they could work on the Nate Lahey Sr. retrial. ("It's Her Kid")
Annalise wins the Nate Lahey Sr. retrial and at the end of the episode the Keating 4 + Oliver are raising a toast in celebration. Oliver accuses Michaela and Asher of sleeping together because they kept sneaking off during the week, so they announce they were planning a bachelor party, Operation Slama Jama, for the couple. It was planned for that Friday, but Oliver said his and Connor's mothers were coming that day, causing Connor to get annoyed. ("It Was the Worst Day of My Life")
Pam and Asher are having a friendly conversation when Oliver pulls Connor aside and questions why Asher was invited round in the first place. He then says that Oliver's mum, Joanna, hates him and Oliver says that Connor works with Annalise so his mother is nothing. They go to the kitchen and Connor shows Joanna how to turn on the stove. She begins criticising the house and says getting married in a church would have been an easier way to save money. She then turns to Connor and says he should ask his dad for money as Oliver told her he is rich. Asher then walks in the kitchen and invites Pam to the bachelor party. That night, the Keating 4 + Oliver are eating the dinner Joanna made. Connor is leaving the restroom where his mum stops him and says that Joanna found a nicer venue and asked Pam to kick in $10,000 to surprise Connor and Oliver. Pam felt bad she didn't have the strength to tell Joanna she didn't have the money and Connor defended her saying it was Joanna's fault for not listening. Pam suggests that Connor talks to Oliver about his mum and he replies that Oliver is scared of her. Oliver overhears. They go into their bedroom and they debate about Joanna. Connor changes the topic and says Oliver needs to tell her about his STD. The next day Connor is decorating the porch for the bachelor party when Joanna finds him, sits him down, and explains Oliver's childhood and indirectly says she wants the wedding to happen in a church. ("We Can Find Him")
During the bachelor party, Connor leaves his dad a voicemail about the wedding. Gabriel stops Laurel and says he's not into her, and suggests her thinking that is the reason she's been avoiding him. Gabriel says he'd never hit on her knowing it hasn't been that long since Wes died. Laurel asked how he knew and Gabriel replied the whole school did. Laurel asked Gabriel not to speak to her anymore. ("We Can Find Him")
Nate Lahey Sr. is murdered and the Keating 4 are researching ways they could impact the inquest into his death. Oliver suggests the group have one more night out before the wedding. Connor isn't interested so Oliver says they need to forget how depressing the world is for one night. Gabriel walks in with some research to help in the inquest. Laurel is visibly uncomfortable because she knows who Gabriel is and that he is going after Michaela because she shut him down. ("I Got Played")
The Hampton and Walsh families are giving speeches and making toasts the night before the wedding. Laurel comes in and Michaela starts talking about Gabriel before playing with Christopher. Asher is watching, looking upset, and Pam says she'll have his back at the wedding. They talk about being single and the struggles. In another room, Johnny asks Oliver why his dad isn't coming to the wedding. Oliver starts to explain when Jeff walks in, prompting Oliver to leave with the kids. Jeff says to Connor that Oliver won't even talk to him and Connor defends him. ("He Betrayed Us Both")
The next morning Michaela comes in while the couple are cuddling in bed and asks Oliver to hack Jeffery Sykes phone records to find out who he was in contact with prior to the transfer. Then Annalise texts Connor saying she won't be coming to the wedding, so he goes to her apartment. The wedding happens and the Keating 4 regroup at the house after the reception. Laurel explains who Gabriel is to everybody since Frank found his birth certificate, and Oliver is confused how keeping it a secret was protecting them, but quickly put together that Frank intended to murder him. Michaela realises that Gabriel hasn't returned her calls and she saw blood on Bonnie's leg at the wedding, suggesting that Bonnie did something to him. Laurel rings Frank then passes the phone to Michaela who says she saw blood on Bonnie's leg and Gabriel was now missing. Michaela accuses Frank and Bonnie of doing something to him, which he denies. He tells everybody to go to sleep and he'd call back in the morning. Oliver jokes that a dead Gabriel would have stayed quiet. ("He Betrayed Us Both")
Later, Michaela is woken by Laurel, Connor and Oliver discussing Gabriel. Laurel says he could go to the D.A and have him reopen the case if he finds new evidence. Asher comes in and says that Bonnie is dating Ronald Miller and she wouldn't let him charge any of them with anything. At the end of the episode Laurel sees blood on Christopher's blanket. ("He Betrayed Us Both")
Michaela sees Bonnie text Asher needing to see him ASAP, so he starts leaving. Connor suggests it's about Gabriel and Michaela tells him to stop obsessing, but Laurel disagrees. When Ashe opens the front door, Gabriel is standing there. He reveals that he is Sam's father
