Asher Millstone: Denise was Asher's handler after he took a deal with the FBI. Pollock murdered Asher outside his apartment by hitting him over the head with a fire poker. There, she left him to bleed out. Part of Asher's deal was to get a recording of the remaining members of the Keating 5. When he failed to do this and was outed as the informant, he only had one use left. Pollock knew the poker would have Michaela Pratt's and Connor Walsh's fingerprints on it, so she framed them for Asher's murder so they'd be forced to take a deal and testify against Annalise Keating.
