Biography[]

Season 3[]

In the case with Irene Crowley, a woman who has been in prison for 32 years for murdering her husband. She has been up for parole 6 times and failed to get it. Her 7th time, she was appointed to Annalise Keating's law clinic. The commissioners question Irene on her relationship with her husband. Connor Walsh interrupts her and tells the commissioners that she had a miscarriage due to the abuse. The commissioners find it odd that she never came forward before with allegations of the abuse, meaning in their eyes she's making it up to get her parole. Connor gets angry and Annalise asks for a break while they collect their thoughts. Later, they question Irene on the events leading up to her husband's death. She pauses and they move on thinking that she is refusing to answer. Just as they are asking another question, Irene interrupts and tells the commissioners that she planned it. That she waited until he came home then repeatedly hit him with a hammer. She even confessed to continuing to hit him after he was dead. She tells them that she doesn't regret her actions as it was the one decision which set her free. After her sister-in-law fails to show up to speak against her (thanks to Annalise), the commissioners decide to grant Irene's parole and to release her immediately.
