Caleb's gun is one of the items in How to Get Away with Murder. It was presumed missing for months after the murder of Grant and Ursula Hapstall, until Caleb Hapstall showed it to Michaela Pratt after sleeping with her under the guise he 'found' it.

Season 2[]
Following the murders at the Hapstall mansion, the police were unable to locate the murder weapon. This made the case against the siblings weaker, something Annalise pointed out to the Keating 5. After the wiretap warrant on the Keating house fell through, Emily Sinclair had to find another way to spy on Annalise. She had dozens of boxes full of discovery on the Hapstall case sent to the house in order to 'Trojan horse' a spy pen into the house. Once the team became aware of this, they used it to trick Sinclair into serving a search warrant on the mansion, lying that the gun was in the basement in a tool box. The search turned up nothing.
From when Annalise took on the case, Caleb and Michaela had a budding relationship that peaked when they slept together in Caleb's bedroom at the mansion. Afterwards, Caleb took Michaela to Catherine's studio and showed her the gun used on the night of the murders hidden inside an air vent. The next morning Michaela called Connor over to help her decide what to do. She wanted to get rid of it, Connor wanted it to stay where it was. During their disagreement Caleb picked it up and said he wanted to get rid of it. Then Catherine came in, saw the commotion and ran away. Annalise arrived at the mansion and Caleb explained what happened. He then suggested Philip put the gun there to frame the both of them, so Annalise had Laurel show him the picture of Philip with one of Catherine's paintings in the background. She continued that she could no longer represent both of the siblings as it was a conflict of interest because it seemed like Catherine was guilty.
After Asher killed Sinclair, Laurel picked up the gun, that was left on the front room coffee table, and asked Wes if they should put it in the pool. Wes said no. Annalise was desperate to protect Nate and so wanted to leave the police a crime scene that was a mess. Bonnie was originally going to take the gun to Frank, who was handling Catherine. Annalise told her to leave it and get Asher away from the mansion. She then took the gun into the front room and goaded Wes into shooting her. After the shooting, Laurel took the gun from Wes and claimed responsibility to Michaela. Wes told Laurel to give him the gun so he could put it in the pool but she refused, so Michaela snatched it from her and gave it to Wes.
Trivia[]
- The gun had Laurel, Michaela, Wes, Laurel, Bonnie and Caleb, Annalise and Connor's fingerprints on it.
- The gun is never seen or mentioned again so if the police found it in the pool, all fingerprint evidence had been destroyed.
