Agnes Kaufman is a minor character on How to Get Away with Murder. She and Gina Sadowski allegedly worked together to poison Arthur Kaufman.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Agnes was married to Arthur for 27 years when she found out that he was having an affair with Gina Sadowski. Following her finding out, Gina was moved to a different department in Arthur's company. On Gina's last day in her department, Arthur was found poisoned in his office. His daily pill was switched with aspirin, a medication he is allergic to. Attention turned to Gina, who was quickly charged with Arthur's attempted murder. Agnes became somewhat of a carer for her now brain damaged husband.
During the trial, one of Annalise's interns Laurel was suspicious of Agnes and Gina and decided to spy on them in the restroom. Agnes seemed to comfort Gina and feel sorry for her situation, which was strange because Gina was accused of poisoning her husband whom she had an affair with. Later when Gina was acquitted, Laurel again noticed Gina and Agnes communicating with each other. Outside the courtroom, Gina nodded to Agnes while she was getting into a car with her husband. Laurel worked out that Agnes worked together with Gina to get back at Arthur, her husband and serial cheater.
